Who should use HEDD?
HEDD is for employers, agencies, universities, embassies and councils who wish to verify whether a candidate is a current or past student of a university or college, the award and grade they received, and their dates of attendance.
HEDD is not for use by students or graduates to verify their own awards. Please contact your university or college.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to register as an enquirer. However, each enquiry to a HEDD university or college costs £10. The cost covers a single qualification and includes:
- if a person is a current or past student
- the award and grade they received
- their dates of attendance
Universities and colleges that do not participate in HEDD are free to set their own fees. These charges are clearly stated when you look up a university or college within HEDD.
We don't allow students and graduates to sign up or cover the cost of verification on behalf of employers, agencies, universities, embassies, or councils.
£10 per online enquiry
